What is the difference between affiliate marketing and MLM?

All of these answers are good, but what it boils down to for me is a very simple designation: Affiliate Marketing is what makes me money. MLM is not. As an affiliate I offer a product for sale, someone buys it, end of story. No recruiting to me is the major difference.

For me it was a networking thing to start making contacts and expose my products to others. It has turned into a pleasant experience.

I am active on Apsense as my prome socio business platform for the last so many years but neither have I got a single signup for my offers nor effectdd any sale why is so though I have tried every thing that is rquired to be done where I have erred and why is it so? I think this may be the fate of others like me also but whay wherre we lack?

I totally agree with the previous answer. You really need to adopt the mindset that you will succeed. As far as promoting your opportunities goes, all I can offer is this...it's a numbers game. If you've promoted, promote some more. And then some more. And then some more again.
