I am also one of those who agree that if it sounds to good to be true then its best to avoid.
I believe that there are also certain key words that need to be considered carefully. These include autopilot, lazy, EZ, matrix and many others like them.
If the promoter is promising an infinite income stream, they are obviously not being truthful as there is no way that such a promise can be achieved. What happens is that the first into a scheme like that might make some money, but eventually it will crash taking the money from most who have joined without any return for them.
I guess its a combination of first impressions and research.
