The way I look at it is, it costs $10 for 2000 credits. If I do alot of advertising and run alot of campaigns, i get 5000 credits for ugrading to partner member. I am going to spend the same amount to purchase credits (because i dont have all day to click on ads to earn them), so its definately worth the $35. The price to upgrade and advertise on apsense is way more affordable than ppc (pay per click), plus you get to meet some really awesome people. In the short time i've been here, my team has recruited 5 new people into our business, so its well worth the money!
