If you are placing your 'site links' in various places, be sure that (a) the link is complete and correct (b) you have 'verified' that the link works fine, and (c) that you are inserting the 'specific page link' that you want people to land on when visiting your site.
"Inside of ApSense", be sure that you have provided 'clear info' and completed all of your profile info etc. It is also a good idea to add some graphics if you can - if you do not have appropriate graphics to insert, you can go to 'Google Images' and be sure to select graphics that are 'not' copyright protected.
"Outside of ApSense", make sure you have listed your site URL on ALL of the major search engines AND take advantage of all of the free advertising that is available to you. It takes some time for the SE to crawl your site, so be patient and also make sure you are using 'Google Analytics' and a 'good' SEO Plugin for your site.
