My approach would be to start out with something that pays a few cents a day for free, then snowball that into the amount you need. Not only would you then have zero risk (using house money) but you would have more experience that should lead to higher odds of making your new venture a success.

Google does NOT give preferential treatment in search results for.com names. I heard this several years ago, so I set out to rank for my user name with a .info extension and have held #1 for years. The only reason I see for .com is it is the default for most browsers and in most peoples minds. For search engines that doesn't matter, because the results will have a clickable link.

@bjantiques this is simply not true. The definition of a squeeze page is that it forces the visitor to enter information in order to get the promised reward. This can be done with a simple form that sends an email to you that can be responded to without automation. In fact, I think it works much better that way.

On your home page is a link that says Post Bulletin in the Recent Bulletin box. I think the way to get the most from these is to post regular updates to a program you are finding success with. Then anytime someone notices one, they can see all the rest of the sequence too for more impact.

If you search on YouTube there are plenty of tutorials that cover transferring files with FileZilla. Understand that if your zip file is in any folder and you give someone a link to it, their computer will download it automatically.

Do a search for free css templates and modify them for a start. All those standards are for pros, but I have made a ton of money online with cheezy old style websites with tables, they still work fine. Another good approach is learn to use Wordpress as a Content Management System.

As a whole, it must be pretty good or there would not be so many scrambling for the best keywords. Individually, each case needs to be analyzed on it's own. If your sales are greater than what you paid for clicks, then it's was a good ROI. There is no way to tell in advance.

That is a good question. The REAL scoop is to share your experience and how the system works, then let them decide if they think they can make money with it. As soon as you tell them, "I put in $200 and made $1,200 back in a couple of days", you set yourself up as defrauding them when they discover they can NOT do it themselves.

I am trying to install a feedjit widget on my wordpress blog. these are the instructions: To install this plugin: 1. Copy the feedjit.php file into wp-content/plugins folder on your blog. 2. The other factor for me is it's too simple and cheap to do it yourself, so why take a chance on some system failing? Get a .info domain name from GoDaddy and they will let you redirect 99 subdomains to any websites you chose. If I pay 89 cents for the first year, that's $.00075 a month each and if you can't afford that, you are in the wrong business.

I learned a LONG time ago that the best way is to spend your time to make it easy for the crawlers to find you instead. Get at least one keyword anchored backlink from a PR5 or higher website and they will find you fast. I happen to have a YouTube Channel that's a PR6 and a link to a new website on there got me recognized and listed by Google in 2 days, so I know it works.

I have several friends online that have no clue on how to build a website or get it noticed by Google, but they make a nice income here. It depends on what you are marketing and surely al the skills you can add will increase your success, but it's not required in my experience.

In my opinion, since you are both interested in promoting online, find a way to HELP them. Look over their profile and visit all their links, then offer advice or support in some way. Ask them if they want help, don't just shove it at them. For example, I ran across one marketer that had an ebook they were offering with an UGLY cover graphic, so I asked them if they would like an improved image for free? Of course they accepted and now we have a solid contact. Stop asking how you can make more money and look for ways you can help more people.

Honestly I don't measure traffic, only the bottom line. Tracking advertising can cause you to shoot yourself in the foot in my opinion. If you track responses for a week and don't get satisfactory results, who can say the next week won't blow the roof off? So if you quit too soon, you just missed out. I say do whatever feels good and keep it up as long as it's fun, then see if you make more money, that's all that really counts, right?

I have reached my goal as far as needing money, but the amount I can earn is my score card and the more I can make, the more exciting it gets. I had one point in my online career that I was making over $6,000 a month and it was a total rush every time I checked my balances and saw them go up.

There will always be someone willing to take your money for doing something you could do yourself with a little research and effort. I am a dummy when it comes to SEO, but I have had a #1 positions on Google that has lasted for YEARS and is still there. If you think it's just for some obscure term, it has put over 50,000 referrals in my downline for the program it promoted, and now that that program died it still brings in referrals in a steady stream for a similar program I switched the focus to. The key is to come up with a search term early in the cycle that has not been overly exploited yet. My experience has been that once you get the #1 spot, it's easier to stay there than for someone new to knock you out.

Everyone may be here to make money, but my guess would be very few of them are. So by definition, they are prospects for anyone who has a business that would turn that tide for them. You may ask where I get that feeling? It's because everywhere I turn on ApSense, I see signs of desperation. In my opinion, only someone who is desperate to stop the hemorrhaging from making monthly payments for a business that is not bringing anything in return would resort to blatant spamming.

I just ran a campaign to offer people a free ebook to get them on a list and got 15 from that one effort. I also made several new friends and raised my image without getting a single spam offer back. Maybe you're doing something wrong?

I set up a Rev Page and then ran a Comment Campaign on it and added 35 new subscribers to my opt-in list in 2 days. I ran the same offer on a traffic exchange for 1,000 visits and only got 2. That's why I prefer ApSense and If any of them end up subscribing to the service I promoted, you bet I will earn money.

Come up with headlines that knock their eyeballs out! If it looks good enough, some will look. Then OVERDELIVER what your tweet promised INSTANTLY. You only have a few seconds, so don't waste it. If they do click through, treat them like visitors to the kings palace, make sure they stick around.

I have a Flip Mino HD and it does everything I need. You can clip single frames into a static photo and it's super compact, so it's all I carry now. Then I can put it on a mini tripod and shoot promotional videos for YouTube too.
