To spend or not to spend for upgrades in any program is a decision not to be taken lightly.
The answer is found in YOUR analysis of your overall Marketing Strategy.
1. What do expect to receive in return form your "investment"
2. Does the site directly offer Income through referrals or is the upgrade just a means of more exposure.
3. How much Time and Energy, plus your capital are you willing to invest to fully utilize the system.
Before I, and many other savvy Marketers, choose to spend we ask the these questions.
And take the time to do a cash flow projection.
Regarding Apsense:
It does offer opportunity for referral Income:
If the rev pages are done properly and you promote properly and there is REAL Value in that which you promote there is more opportunity as a paid Member.
I was a Pro member when the site first opened, became disillusioned with the lack of professionalism of the meers.
Thing look better now, but I am remaining a FREE member, because my personal product developments are demanding capital and they will offer a higher profit margin.
Not to say I wont upgrade later.
