.info, .com, .net and all the others don't matter much in terms of YOUR site. All sites are ranked the same in google regardless of the .com/.net /.info ending. It does affect you when it comes to backlinks to your site however.

Google does not look favorably on .info. the reason for this is that the .info was used and abused when automated blogs were first introduced and they still are the primary choice for autoblogs.
