Depends. Blogspot is full WYSIWYG and needs only minimal HTML knowledge to costumize. Otherhand Wordpress has much more editting ability but needs much more HTML knowledge. But wordpress has many more widgets/gadgets to use and more automated and remote possibilities. I think blogspot is easier but wordpress has more features. Personally I use blogspot - better google indexing. The whole thing depends that what you want. a Blog or a semi-blog-site,

WordPress is just as good for Google as Blogspot is. It just boils down to getting the SEO right. WordPress has some very good widgets that will help in getting the SEO right. Also WordPress does not need any html knowledge, however if you do know a little you can really go to town and create an excellent Blog

Blogger is much easier for a beginner. Wordpress can be confusing if you don't have some basic knowledge. I have used them both and much prefer Blogger

While I am far from the best blogger out there I have found that it is easier for me to blog using the business page I set up in Facebook. It is connected to my personal page and it is so easy for me to click the link and switch to the business link and post before I sign off for the night. I do some small advertising on Facebook also and that is where I do most of my blogging. I have done some on Google also. If you use GMail, there is a feature called Reader, you can use it to do your blogging and it is easy to use.

Yeah I like this Question, But for me I would Vote Blogspot all the way...:)... Professionally I still say Blogspot, Wordpress is Great But am Not There Fan.... as A proof I host My website on Blogger and it's Great... You Cant even Know Unless I Tell you....;)...I mean for Beginners, less cost and easier work... and it makes it easy to register Adsense...I am Still learning.....But Trust I know Much.....lol

I would prefer Blogspot since it is easier to navigate and post the banners as i like it. Wordpress a bit confusing, so i need time to learn about it.

Blogspot is easy but Wordpress is very easy already and has lots more functionality, control and can be expanded way further than the blogger platform. I'd recommend starting out directly with Wordpress and not waste your time with Blogspot. You'll have to relearn how things work sooner or later in Wordpress and you'll lose valuable time.
