Yea, not a bad choice at all, l guess on the Heavy Duty trucks l will go with the CAT, but on mid size trucks, the F250's, F350's, F450's and F550's would you consider the 7.3 to be the best or would you go with the 5.9 Cummings or is it the Duramax. I would in my case go with the 7.3 first, 5.9 second and the duramax third. I guess one day l will become a real man when l buy a Cat......and by the way l do have two of them at home they drive me up a wall.........

Cummings is the best diesel hands down. Used in the big tractors for over the road and also in the Dodge trucks. I am involved with a group of people that have the Dodge Cummings engines that go back to 1995 the average get 20 plus miles to the gallon in both 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I have a 2002 that gets 22 miles per gallon and for over 200,000 thousand miles so far and it still feels like new. Most of the over the road truck drivers would not even consider anything but a Cummings engine for their trucks. The Cummings is made in the USA also.
