on view website campaigns, it is done automatically. On all others you the campaign creator gets to verify that the campaign task requirement was met before the joining credits are released. Once you are notified that someone joined your task campaign, view their task result and verify that it was completed. I did a subscribe to ezine campaign. When they posted their link to show they had completed the campaign, I went to my ezine and verified that they were among my subscribers then and only then did I accept that the task was completed. those who did not complete the task got no credits and the credits were refunded to me.
