Okay not the bible, eh? That's the one that has had the biggest impact. But to name another...It was called the "Black Book of American History" It was a collection of facts about the contributions that Blacks have made to American history over the years. Very little that was in that book is taught in schools and it made me realize how much history has been lost. It also spurred me to research the contributions of Blacks to America.

Never heard of that book, but l want to read it. We both know why l said no bible, no book in the world compares to the wisdom that the bible lays out for all who read it and benefit from it. To me the one book, that l always refer back to is Napoleon Hills "How To Win Friends and Influence People," l have read this book many times and always find something l missed that l can actually applied to make me a better person. There are many good books out there, it really boils down to it really doesn't matter what you read as long as it provides you with the guidance you are looking for from that book.

In a recent training with one of our top corporate producers, someone asked about what to read for personal development and I loved his answer, "Whatever will fill the need for you right now." In other words we are all at different places in our development and we all have different weaknesses that we need work on. The truth is even a book of fiction can make a big impact if it addresses our need at the time.

The Richest man in Babylon I was given my first copy when I was 13 and have had many copis and givenn many more copies away as gifts, When thinking back on it the commonsense sysem it provides and which has lasted and stood the test of time, has built ma a nice nest egg and provides ongoing income,So much so it should be read by everyone
