Call your State Attorney General's Office. Now almost all of them have someone versed in internet marketing scams/Computer Fraud etc. Describe the program to them they will tell you if it is legit. Understand that while watchdog sites like MLM watchdog and ripoff report can be helpful they are not the final authority. A scam reported on one of these sites has already done a lot of damage, people have already been hurt. and in some cases are nothing more than sites for people to vent against reputable companies if they don't like the outcome of dealing with the company. The Better Business Bureau keeps a record of complaints received. But be careful when checking on these programs, they often have a different name than the 'corporate' owner. So make sure you check both the program name and the name of the 'corporation that runs it.
