NO ADVERTISING IN QUESTIONS OR ANSWERS.
Do Not post Ads as Questions nor as answers to questions. Use the Search facility to see if your question has been asked before.

If the question opens the door for people to advertise then it is removed. They can also be removed it the question is a repeat of something already asked and answered. The way to avoid that happening is to use the search BEFORE posting the question.

Thanks for answering. . It was posted in the Business and Finance category. It was not asked before and it was not leading to any business. I am simply asking so I can take the best approach... .... How can that be judged as opening a door?

It seems i did my job well if you have to ask that question. There were replies posted that contained referral links to various sites. It seems I removed them before you saw them. As there were ads posted as part of replies it is clear that the question opened the door to the spammers. Blame them not me. I know what you asked about and i have removed it as we are not opening that door again. Please contact me if you need assistance.

Thank you bjantiques for your straight up answer. What I have taken from this is that any question asked can be taken as opening a door for spammers and you make that judgment on that, I have my answer and I have decided that this application is not a good one or fair. I am sure that any question I ask will be considered as a new open door for spammers so I will disengage it from my apps. It's very sad that this kind of thing has to happen!!!

as I said dont blame me, blame the morons that can not reply to questions without turning them into advertisements. There are plenty of questions that are asked without opening doors for them. If you cant ask questions without opening doors then you are better off using other options such as creating your own group and asking your questions in there. This is an ad free area and if you do not like it then you know where the door is. The majority are quite happy with the no advertising rules.
