I think some safelists are a good way of advertising and ones where you can earn commissions for referring members and also join their matrixes. i havent joined any yet but am looking into it and am a member of a couple of text ad exchanges which is kind of the same concept but with text ads and solo ads
Probably not. Most safelist members (a) just delete the safelist mails, or (b) get frustrated at the number of such mails or (c) just label the safelist no-responder itself as spammer. A small safelist will not help and a large one will give the above problems. So, probably not!
Credit based Safelist are very similar to Traffic Exchanges - members earn credits/points (in some cases even cash!) for clicking the "credit-link" in the e-mail and send their own messages to fellow members by spending those credits. I for one do like Safelist advertising especially for my pages to which I need IP-Unique visits, since each "credit-link" works only once per member.
I still believe in safelist advertising and some good results proof me right. Everything online isnt as easy as it was many years before and you have to do things a little bit better, but its still work. You cant sent 1k mails through a safelist and think you will get hundreds of sign ups. You have to send much more and this perseverative.
