Hi Eric, I'm a newbie in the world of internet marketing. Before I was like you, I was wondering why. But as days go by, I learned a lot of things how to make a sale, how to make money. First thing you got to keep in mind is to set a goal that you can make it, be positive. There is no easy way to make money if you don't know how to work with it. All of us will start at Level 1, and some are the highest level already, so we got to take their advices, what the pro will tell us what to do, you got to help yourself buddy, I know you can make it. :)

It takes several contacts to get sales, so you need to build a list. Look at all the advice all over the Net and you will read this over and over, so why don't most people do it. Answer that and you might find the answer to your question too.

Dered12 it is ture what ready 2win said is 100% correct. You need to work on your business Center and breath life in to your apsene rev pages and on profile you need to let people know more about you. Here on Apsense an other Social Networks and all Business social Networks you have to persent yourself with a least a profile that let people know who you are and what you have to offer not just trowing some Igot a opportunity for you: couple lines on your profile. Also if you do not advertise heavy in different places online don't excpet to make no money. Think about this Build a brand make your name a brand not just your product or service you offer!

Sales are a by product of trust,simply put people normally buy from people they like or trust.In other words helping or giving someone something they need or want usually earns their trust then when you have the right product at the right time sales will come.

I agree with ready2win. I took a look at your profile and revpages too. I would take his advice and join some groups. You can learn a lot. What oldbuddy says is also true. You need contacts. And you need to build your online reputation. You can do this by publishing blogs and revpages with good content (no paste-copy job) and to engage in discussions. Give your honest opinion in comments that ad quality (not only "nice info, thanks). When you do that people will check out your profile. Keep doing it and people will check out your profile and look what you have to offer. Keep doing it and they will purchase something or sign up.

I agree with mymagic. It has to be reputable now. I have thrown a lot of money away trying to get the right program and many of them either shut down or are stagnant. I have had a few refuse to pay and some that changed the program in midstream. Internet is a gamble and some just can't afford to do that right now.

On 2010-10-12 I sent you my welcome information in which there was along with some advice a link to a article here in APSense. - you have clearly not even looked at that link - if you had your profile would not be the garbage it is now - It is clear that you have in the last month and a half figured out you are not doing something right - How long will it take you to realize you were sent that information to act on not ignore and, IF you had acted on it you would be a few steps further ahead than you are now. - You are a perfect example of the majority of people on the internet -they ask how ? what? but ignore the answers when they are given to them as they are not the answers they want to hear

It seems you got your work cut out for ya, dered12:) Starting out can be frustrating, but at least you were fortunate enough to stumble across a great community that you can draw advice and insight from, instantly. It took me 3 years to discover a community like this, lol. But yes, internet sales is all about building relationships these days. And I agree with everyone else. You do that by providing true value to prospects for free. This may sound a bit sappy, but if your in the mindset and practice of "giving", you'll eventually get what you want in return. What are your talents or Skills? Programming? Offline Sales Tips? Investing? Whatever ya got, start giving it away;)

It's not enough to just post blogs, and put ads. I have written a few blogs, but not about my products, but about promoting YOU!! If people know what you are about, build the connection with your networtks, tell more of yourself, AND also know like any business it takes time! You will get there.

Hi Eric, To me,the best advise I can give you is trying to concentrate on one thing.This is because when you promote or sell too many products or selling undefined product,you are at criss-cross and your time is wasted.Therefore,you will not wasted your effort,time and money but also exhausted hence no more motivation to make sales. Another thing is,try to consider branding yourself and your product.One pioneer and innovator in the field of advertising called Bruce Barton ones said that,"For good will or ill,your conversation is your advertisement.Every time you open your mouth,you let the world look into your mind."

@Dered12, yes, I have read all the answers on your Question. I have given them all a thumb-up, some deserves more that one, that's for sure. I can only say this, 1% motivation and 99% hard work is and has always been the answer to success. You have a good product, you need to let the world know about it. (Advertise, advertise, advertise.) this is not what is told in the beginning. As you advertise through varioussites, you start building a list. CAUTION! If people think you want to make a quicky out of them, they are shy. Honesty is a virtue, people are looking for that and all they can see is what you give them. Hi Dered The main problem is you are in a circle that is like a dog chasing it's tail. If you walked into a room of people all of which has a car for sale how much luck would you have selling your car?? Everyone in a social site is trying to sell something and most are cheap e-books or another way to get more trasffic or another matrix program. Get a product that people use and replace, get out of the circle U R N and promote it. I personally promote mainly Alternative health products. and also trade FOREX, you are not gonna make a 1000 a day like these morons would like U 2 believe LOL and it takes a lot of work.

That is a pretty open ended question. Why don't you start by telling us what you have tried so far. Have you been working on SEO? Are you promoting standard affiliate pages or creating your own? What methods are you using for driving traffic? How are you utilizing social media sites? There are a lot of people here who can be very helpful. I see a lot of responses already, but there is no way of knowing if any of them apply to your situation.

Well anybody can make sales online depending on your type of product/service, your online presence and your target audience. If really want to make sales, spend some time to research where your target audience are hanging.

Or to your affiliate page. if the traffic is quite effective is the niche that your product or affiliate page you will increase your sales.Or creating a list whose subscribers have followed or to do with your niche, it also optimize sales. The first sale you can make online is always the hardest thing and perhaps one of the most awaited achievement during the first stage of your internet marketing activity. Just like here at APSene, take note when you sent your first invitation just to join your network. Out of 50 or more invitation you make, sign up under you may only be 10 members or less. If one member from these 50 signups get an upgrade, that's a high probability. Another thing is that you should really know the product you are selling. You are ALL missing the point I made earlier - the fact he was given information which if he had looked at read and acted on he would be a great deal nearer to making sales than he is now. Despite ALL the replies here has he done anything? NO !!! We can not help those that will not accept it.
