A general rule of thumb is, if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.
When looking at a potential program, ask yourself one question. "What product or service is being promoted?" If there is no product or service, such as in cash gifting schemes, then it is most likely a scam and illegal It will never work except for the first few people who start it and sucker some people into the system.
As for PTC, these sites come and go so fast that you have to be careful. I've heard of lots of people who had been using the sites and then never got paid because either the site disappeared or various other reasons. When they do work, I still would not recommend them. If you are serious about pursuing an online marketing business, you will not have time to be sitting and clicking for fractions of a cent.
Just my 2 cents worth. Take it or leave it.
