When making remarks on Campaigns, mine always seem to show while others are only available to the campaign owner. Why is this and how do I get mine not to be shown?

I believe that when you view a campaign on which you make a comment, you will see your comment, but not others. Likewise, when someone else looks at the campaign, they will see their comment only and not yours or anyone else's comment. The campaign owner is the only one to see all comments.

Neville has almost all of the right answer. I just need to add that approved comments on a 'Post Comment" campaign will show up in the comments section of that thread. Declined comments do not show up for anyone once they are declined instead everyone will see a message letting them know the comment was denied and the reason why.
