First of all it is too much deceit on the Internet. It frightens off people. It is too difficult to distinguish the good offer from a deceit. The second that impedes this that that the majority is interested in advertising the goods and anything else is not interested except for it. It is similar to the market where other sellers and few buyers

Pop ups! You arrive on a site and suddenly you get a pop up if you act now for only $199.00, then you close the window and another one pops up, Ok, so that price was to steep act now and you can get it for $129.00, you again close the window and here comes yet one more, ok, ok, I know that is a bit much click here right now and I'll let you have if you $1.99 PLA-EASE! No sale, I'm gone never, ever to return.

Using TE's to advertise products other than other TE's or traffic sources. Most TE surfers are there to get credits and or traffic, so trying to sell other products to them is the wrong market. I've been caught by that and can tell you it's a complete waste of time.

If its generating sales...It cant be a weak method. any sale is a good thing no matter how it was generated.

I happen to think the question is a good one. It makes people think about what they are doing. and Laura I have to disagree with your statement "any sale is a good thing no matter how it was generated". Not all sales are permanent. There is a little something that is often referred to as the 'three day law/rule'. It's not a good thing to make a sale today and have that buyer suffer from buyer's remorse tomorrow. because that sale now becomes a chargeback if you have been paid you must now return your commission to the company. If you are using a method that results in numerous chargebacks, you are digging yourself a deep hole. That's why I discourage or refuse what I call 911 sales. I already know that it will be used for the immediate need and then dropped. That affects my income. I'd rather not sell at all then to keep giving my commissions back to the company for chargebacks.

I totally agree with gilbertocintron regarding those annoying popups. I have gone to websites associated with links I have clicked on in an email I received. When trying to leave the site, I keep getting that kind of popup and it'd not just 1 or 2 of them. Sometimes it has been as many as 5 or 6.

Advertising on Paid to click websites (PTCs) generates least sales compared to website views. Visitors of these sites just go there for the sake of a point and hesitate to go beyond the frame of the ptc site.
