the best way is to start writing articles and publish the same on article directories like ezine articles, goarticles, squidoo, hubpages, article base etc ... the more you write the more target visitors you get and all is free ...

you could start by using the search option here to find out how many times this same question has been asked and answered. then you could go back through some of the pages here (there are more than just the page that opens) Those serious in learning to promote will find the information they need if they are prepared to put in the foot work and read the many articles that actually give you the answers that you are looking for.

By all means promoting a website equals sending loads of traffic to that site. Without traffic you have no conversions, no sales, and no income. You will not find an easier source of guaranteed traffic than with traffic exchanges. Just put in a website URL and start clicking.

I would say all of the above and much more ... blogging, craigslist, traffic exchanges, business cards, flyers, telemarketing twitter, myspace, tagged, tumblar, stumbleupon, google +, google friend connect, building good content so you keep your visitors coming back, classified ad sites, your local newspaper, the yellow pages, Get a shirt and a hat with your website on it get some pens with your logo and website, make some calenders with your website give these out to your targeted future customers.

post in forums (free) Earn credits in Apsense and create a rev page or article to promote it (free) PTC sites > instant traffic (not free) Googles Adword and all other pay per click companies (not free) might cost a lot but maybe effective if you know how to do it

Have you ever thought about promoting your website on mobile phones using mobile advertising platforms or creating a landing page. Promoting through phones can really get your website out there for everybody to see.
